Description/Abstract
Following an extensive review of Council Regulation (EC) No 44/2001 on jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgments in civil and commercial matters (‘the EC Jurisdiction Regulation’) published in B Hess, T Pfeiffer and P Schlosser ‘The Brussels I - Regulation (EC) No 44/2001 The Heidelberg Report on the Application of Regulation Brussels I in 25 Member States’ (Study JLS/C4/2005/03), C H Beck, Hart, Nomos, 2008 (‘the Heidelberg Review’), the European Parliament made a resolution on 7 September 2010 (2009/2140(INI) (‘the Resolution’).
