Description/Abstract
This is an edited book from an AHRC project (2004-7), containing 12 chapters on themes of memorialization, veterans and sacrifice in different regions of the ex-Habsburg Empire: Croatia, Austria, Slovenia, Galicia, Tyrol, Czech lands, Sudetenland, Hungary etc. The aim is to submit the manuscript to the publisher in August 2011. The volume also contains a chapter by me (about the Sudeten German sacrifice and its legacy).
