Description/Abstract
This is the editorial of a special half-issue of The Journal of Commonwealth Literature on local cosmopolitanisms. It sums up the four articles comprising the half-issue and the conferenct the half-issue is based on, taking as its departure point the little-known work of the Bemba novelist Stephen Mpashi.
