Description/Abstract

Room temperature adsorption of [Rh(CO)(2)Cl](2) on TiO2[110] is investigated using Scanning Tunnelling Microscopy (STM) which reveals the formation of nanoparticles that coexist with the mono-disperse Rh(CO)(2)Cl species; the spatial distribution of these particles indicates that nanoparticle formation occurs principally at step edges.
