2,2-bis(chloromethyl)propylene bis(diphenylstibine)
The title compound, [Sb-2(C6H5)(4)(C5H8Cl2)], is the product of a substitution reaction of 2,2-bis(chloromethyl)-1,3-dichloropropane with sodium diphenylstibide. Adjacent phenyl groups embrace each other in a parallel fashion in order to minimize interaction. The molecule has crystallographic twofold rotation symmetry.
