A Symmetry Network is a feedforward network in which the connections are divided into equivalence classes of equal weight in such a way that the output of the network is invariant under a given group of permutations of the input. In this report we develop the theory of the structure of such networks.

Abstract

A Symmetry Network is a feedforward network in which the connections are divided into equivalence classes of equal weight in such a way that the output of the network is invariant under a given group of permutations of the input. In this report we develop the theory of the structure of such networks.
