Description/Abstract
This paper describes the incorporation of knowledge-based functionality into the Microcosm open hypermedia system. The knowledge-based system developed and its integration with Microcosm are described, and then a case-study illustrates how the resulting system has been used to support fault-finding in an automated factory.
