User Evaluation of an Industrial Hypermedia Application.

User Evaluation of an Industrial Hypermedia Application.
User Evaluation of an Industrial Hypermedia Application.
The industrial hypermedia evaluation process, reported here, used shop-floor operators, and maintenance technicians from the industrial environment. The evaluation focused on the subjective opinion of the users and measured the ease with which users could retrieve the information required to perform specific tasks. This report describes the rationale behind the approach used and then draws these together to give a methodology for evaluating an industrial strength hypermedia application. This report then presents the results of the user trials.
