Supporting knowledge acquisition
Supporting knowledge acquisition
This paper examines attempts to support the knowledge engineer in the process of knowledge acquisition. It focuses, in particular, on a system we have developed which attempts to integrate a range of acquisition techniques. The system provides a basis for supporting what we term knowledgable knowledge acquisition: the encapsulation and use within a system of knowledge about various aspects of the acquisition process.
