Description/Abstract
A new blind equalizer is proposed, extending the well-known Constant Modulus Algorithm (CMA), which is based on a Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filter, to an Infinite Impulse Response (IIR) scheme. This equlaiser is capable of equlaizing channels having zeros on the unit circle with better accuracy than that of the classic CMA, while maintaining a similar complexity.
