Description/Abstract
This paper describes the applicability of a kriging assisted method to the design of a synchronous generator with a high temperature superconducting (HTS) rotor winding. The derived algorithm provides pareto optimal fronts maximising the air-gap flux density while minimising the length of YBCO tapes.
