Although there is anecdotal evidence of the positive effects of post-graduate study, there is little research providing evidence of the influence of a Masters level qualification in mathematics education. This study provides rigorous and substantial evidence of the benefits of undertaking such study, and the considerable impacts on teaching and learning.
