Description/Abstract
Much of the research on Executive Information Systems (EIS) in organizations has provided only limited insights into their development process. In this paper, we seek to provide a rich description of the EIS development process from an in-depth study in a manufacturing company. By drawing on this case study, we seek to illustrate our understanding of the origin, development and effectiveness of EIS and to identify some implications for practice
