Description/Abstract

This paper reviews the state of educational research, looking briefly at the relationships between research, policy and practice. As research in education is coming under increasing scrutiny the paper then consider the likely impact of emerging research policy developments such as the establishment of the UK National Education Research Forum (NERF) and developments internationally in terms of the ‘Campbell Collaboration'.
