Bird numbers and habitat characteristics in farmland hedgerows
A statistical analysis is presented of the relationship between bird numbers and the characteristics of forty-two hedges on a Dorset farm. Multiple regression, principal components analysis and regression of actors, and canonical correlation analysis were used and compared.
