Description/Abstract
This report on ‘Society and Lifestyles’ recognises that
changes in the fabric of society and its set values can have a profound impact on travel demand and transport. Transport professionals must be mindful of the outward integration of transport with employment, business practices, standard of living, households, education, social values etc. as well as integration within transport. The report seeks to raise awareness regarding the diversity of factors that will directly or indirectly influence future travel demand.
