Description/Abstract

Using first-order, quasi phase-matched frequency doubling of a diode-pumped 946nm Nd:YAG laser, we have generated 450mW average blue power with 40% conversion efficiency. Photorefractive effects in the periodically-poled LiNbO3 are minimal
