Description/Abstract

We report on the fabrication of a solid one-dimensional microstructured fiber with high nonlinearity and low dispersion at 1.55mu m. A four-wave-mixing based tunable wavelength-conversion scheme was experimentally demonstrated in just 1.5m of this fiber
