Description/Abstract
Considers the topics discussed at the Comite Maritime International (CMI) Colloquium at Bordeaux in June 2003, including: (1) the setting up of a CMI working group to consider the exclusion from general average of expenses relating to the provision of ports of refuge; (2) how advances in ecommerce will affect shipping documents; (3) the CMI draft instrument on the international carriage of goods; and (4) a proposed review of the law on marine insurance.
