Description/Abstract
Bridging the gap that sometimes exists between the study of knowledge discovery in data from an academic perspective and the actual implementation as a business creates important opportunities for cooperation. The authors recommend connecting technology and expertise.
Het dichten van de kloof die soms nog bestaat tussen de studie van knowledge discovery in data vanuit academisch perspectief en de daadwerkelijke toepassing ervan als een bedrijfsactiviteit, creëert belangrijke kansen voor samenwerking. De auteurs doen aanbevelingen voor aansluiting van techniek en expertise.
