Positively charged methylamine-substituted 15-crown[5] cocrystallizes with one chloride counter-anion and two water molecules, C11H24NO5+. Cl-. 2H(2)O. A supramolecular array of crown ether dimers, linked via water-chloride clusters, is formed.
