Wavelength-swept fiber laser with frequency shifted feedback

Wavelength-swept fiber laser with frequency shifted feedback
Wavelength-swept fiber laser with frequency shifted feedback
We report a frequency-shifted, wavelength-swept Er/Yb-doped fiber laser. By matching the intra-cavity filter sweep rate to the frequency shift per round trip controllable, high power (>100mW), cw modeless output over 38m, with <0.1nm instantaneous linewidth is obtained.

Abstract

We report a frequency-shifted, wavelength-swept Er/Yb-doped fiber laser. By matching the intra-cavity filter sweep rate to the frequency shift per round trip controllable, high power (>100mW), cw modeless output over 38m, with <0.1nm instantaneous linewidth is obtained.
