Fabrication of fluoride glass planar waveguides by hot dip spin coating
A hot dip spin coating technique has been developed and applied to form fluoroaluminate glass waveguides with thickness ranging from 2 to 10 micron and waveguides losses of 0.1 dB/cm at 1048 nm.
