Ilana Mitchell: Camden Communality

Camden Communality Camden Communality
25 April 2007 - 26 August 2007

Ilana Mitchell's project about sustainable city living has involved the cultivation of herbs, fruit and vegetables in the Camden Arts Centre Garden. Gallery visitors, community groups and schools have been invited to join in growing, preparing and consuming the fruits of their shared labour on the site. Recipes, stories and gardening tips will be included in the Camden Communality Notebook. Come along to Spiral 07 over the August Bank Holiday weekend when the notebook will be launched, meet Ilana and find out more about the project. Learn about the social and practical issues which arise when creating and sustaining a community. Call the Education team on 020 7472 5500 for more details of how to take part.
