This Exhibition from the Changshu Museum in China was shown in Winchester Gallery,Winchester in October 2007.The Museum Collection displayed was a wide range of Drawing and Calligraphy from across 4 Centuries which also covered many genres and approaches.
The installation responded to the works in the collection and also to the site and environment of Winchester Gallery. Previous work had researched and made comparisons between ancient and contemporary cultural artifacts.
I was invited by Bashir Makhoul to respond to make a drawing installation that responded to the Drawings and Calligraphy.
