Highly efficient high-power erbium-ytterbium co-doped large core fiber laser
We describe a cladding-pumped erbium-ytterbium co-doped fiber laser with 120 W of output at 1.57 micron and with a slope efficiency of 40% with respect to launched pump power. No roll-off in output power was observed.
