The OSWE Project: collaborating to develop the evaluation of outcomes of social work education
In this introductory paper the project facilitators review some issues in evaluating learning outcomes, and summarise the aims, genesis and launch of the Outcomes of Social Work Education (OSWE) project. A framework for learning outcomes is presented and applied to the outcomes of social work education. An overview of the projects is given and we reflect on the lessons that emerged about the challenges and opportunities for outcomes-based research.

Abstract
