The psychosocial issues of survivorship in breast cancer
The article offers information on the psychological issues of breast cancer survivors. The women's feelings of uncertainty, abandonment, fear of recurrence, and other psychological distress are associated to the changes which resulted from the cancer treatment. The psychological status of patients on the various phases of survivorship are also described.
