It is a bi-lingual edition with a paper and responses by Danto himself. The publication comprises contributions by world-famous experts in this field including Hans Belting (Mary Jane Crowe Professor of Art History, Northwestern University, Direktor, Internationalen Forschungszentrums Kulturwissenschaften, Wien), Jean-Marie Schaeffer (Professor of Art Theory, Centre Nationale de la Recherche Scientifique) and Thomas McEvilley (Distinguished Lecturer in Art History, Rice University)
