On 26 July 2010, the UN Secretary General (UNSG), following the Security Council's request under S/Res/1918(2010), submitted its report (S/2010/394) on possible options to further the aim of prosecuting and imprisoning persons responsible for acts of piracy and armed robbery at sea off the coast of Somalia.
