Continuous-wave pumped holey fiber Raman laser
A Raman fiber laser with a highly nonlinear holey fiber is pumped by a continuous-wave Yb-doped fiber laser with up to 5.5 W of launched pump power. The output power was ~0.7 W for 3.9 W of launched pump. The slope efficiency was ~70%.
