How enhancement of IS service provision creates opportunities for service science

How enhancement of IS service provision creates opportunities for service science
How enhancement of IS service provision creates opportunities for service science
The paper presents the findings of an exploratory research initiative providing a knowledge
guide for enhancement of service provision from a practical perspective. The study, which commences
with a description of the general application of service science, focuses on discussing practical
parameters which present major challenges towards its widespread permutation. Data were gathered
from Greek IS stakeholders during a series of workshops consultations and personal interviews. The
results facilitate an argument that the emergence of service science serves as an appropriate medium
to deal with the challenges of service delivery.
