Insertion of metallated epoxides into zirconacycles
Metallated epoxides (epoxysilanes, epoxynitriles, epoxystyrene) insert efficiently into zirconacycles via a 1,2-metallate rearrangement to form intermediates which eliminate Cp2Zr(R)O- to afford substituted alkenes.
