Gravitational effect on permeability identification
Gravitational effect on permeability identification
The present paper studies a gravitational effect on the permeability identification in the flow experiments along the vertical direction. In considering the gravitational effect, two analytical solutions for 2-D and 3-D radial flows through isotropic and anisotropic fibre preforms in Resin Transfer Moulding (RTM) process are presented. Some practical experiments with three kinds of reinforcements (Random fabric, Unidirectional fabric and Twill fabric) are done to demonstrate these analytical solutions.
