Model Generation Using Genetic Programming
Model Generation Using Genetic Programming
In search and optimisation applications, model building is largely manual. However, relationships binding variables and making up constraints may be automatically generated if a complete enough body of data is available. At present, at the level of most businesses such a body is not only available but unexploited. In the following we shall rely on these data which ultimately can be used in the constraints description of the problem. The efficient implementation of this process is also addressed.

Abstract
In search and optimisation applications, model building is largely manual. However, relationships binding variables and making up constraints may be automatically generated if a complete enough body of data is available. At present, at the level of most businesses such a body is not only available but unexploited. In the following we shall rely on these data which ultimately can be used in the constraints description of the problem. The efficient implementation of this process is also addressed.
