Control and state performance measures in unmatched approximate adaptive control
We consider strict feedback systems with are functionally known up to a (weighted) L2 measure of uncertainty. A modified L2 performance cost functional is introduced, this incorporates both state and control effort terms, and the performance of a class of model based adaptive controllers is studied. A worst case upper performance bound is derived in terms of the uncertainty measure.
