Adaptive Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing Schemes
This paper investigates the upper-bound performance of subband-adaptive Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) transmission in a time-dispersive channel and the feasibility of blind modulation scheme detection algorithms not requiring modulation scheme signalling information. Simulation results for a modem employing two and four modulation modes are presented using blind modulation mode detection.

Abstract
This paper investigates the upper-bound performance of subband-adaptive Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) transmission in a time-dispersive channel and the feasibility of blind modulation scheme detection algorithms not requiring modulation scheme signalling information. Simulation results for a modem employing two and four modulation modes are presented using blind modulation mode detection.
