The work performs numerical modelling of VLF emissions observed at Halley Bay, Antarctica. The code uses a highly efficient and novel plasma simulation method termed Vlasov Hybrid Simulation The code successfully models various forms of discrete emissions observed at Halley, in particular risers, fallers and hook shaped waveforms.
