Market- Based Multi-Agent Systems for ATM Network Management
This paper discusses a distributed approach to traffic management in ATM networks. The aim is to identify and elaborate a computationally cheap messaging protocol and decision making process which provides an efficient traffic management regime. In this work a multi-agent system in which the individual decision making processes are modelled as economic entities is proposed.
