Apparatus for coating substrates with inductively charged resinous particles
An apparatus for improving the elctrostatic charge developed on a resin pwder conposition for elctrostatic coating of solid object and the methos of application thereof. The apparatus comprises an electrode (28) for charing powder particles by electrical induction/conduction such that powder particles have a resistivity of from about 109 to about 1013 ohm. meters at 20% relative hunidity and spraying the charged powder particles via a nozzle (24) onto grounded solid object (26) to which it adheres prior ro the thermal fusing to produce a permanent finish.
