A Continuous-time Hierarchical Field Programmable Analogue Array
A Continuous-time Hierarchical Field Programmable Analogue Array
This paper presents our continuous-time Hierarchical Field Programmable Analogue Array (HFPAA) to explore rapid prototyping for analogue systems design. Our HFPAA design is based on our continuous-time CAB, which has minimum dependence on external passive components and highly flexible in internally reconfiguring a range of analogue functions. Results from our HFPAA fabricated in AMS 0.6µm CMOS process are also included, which demonstrates the feasibility in extending our HFPAA design for prototyping of complex analogue systems.

Abstract

This paper presents our continuous-time Hierarchical Field Programmable Analogue Array (HFPAA) to explore rapid prototyping for analogue systems design. Our HFPAA design is based on our continuous-time CAB, which has minimum dependence on external passive components and highly flexible in internally reconfiguring a range of analogue functions. Results from our HFPAA fabricated in AMS 0.6µm CMOS process are also included, which demonstrates the feasibility in extending our HFPAA design for prototyping of complex analogue systems.
