Comment on “Efficiency limits of photovoltaic fluorescent collectors”
This comment shows that the fundamental efficiency limits of fluorescent collectors based on selective reflector which were discussed recently in the paper by Rau et al can be obtained analytically in a closed form by using a method developed in a recently published by Markvart, and can be expressed in terms of a single parameter of the collector: the photon collection efficiency.

Abstract

This comment shows that the fundamental efficiency limits of fluorescent collectors based on selective reflector which were discussed recently in the paper by Rau et al can be obtained analytically in a closed form by using a method developed in a recently published by Markvart, and can be expressed in terms of a single parameter of the collector: the photon collection efficiency.
