Efficient Ho:LuLiF4 laser in-band pumped by a Tm fiber laser
A Ho:LuLiF4 laser with an output power of 5.4W and slope efficiency of 76% at 2.1µm in-band pumped by a Tm fiber laser at 1.94µm is reported. Strategies for further increasing output power are considered.
