Quasi-score tests with survey data

Quasi-score tests with survey data
Quasi-score tests with survey data
Although most survey texts are concerned primarily with problems of estimating finite population parameters, survey data are often used to develop and fit stochastic models describing the underlying structure of the population. In this paper we develop analogues of the score test for use with survey data where the use of multi-stage sampling and variable selection probabilities cause special problems.

Abstract

Although most survey texts are concerned primarily with problems of estimating finite population parameters, survey data are often used to develop and fit stochastic models describing the underlying structure of the population. In this paper we develop analogues of the score test for use with survey data where the use of multi-stage sampling and variable selection probabilities cause special problems.
