ESRC National Centre for Research Methods. Consultation Exercise Report
The ESRC's new National Centre for Research Methods is to have a distributed structure, consisting of a co-ordinating "hub" together with a series of sub-centres or "nodes". The commissioning of the Centre is staggered. The hub commissioning process took place in 2003, and the node commissioning is to take place in 2004.
Between the commissioning of the hub and nodes, the ESRC asked the hub to undertake a short consultation exercise with the aims of providing intelligence about the overall shape of the Centre's nodes and the broader strategic direction of the Centre. This report summarises the conduct and findings of this consultation exercise.
