Controllo vibrazionale semi-attivo di un rotore flessibile tramite smorzatore a squeeze-film magnetoreologico
After an analytical and numerical study, a magnetorheological (MR) squeeze-film damper has been designed and set up on a reduced scale rotor test-rig. By testing different fluids, an optimal fluid has been singled out. Tests conducted on the selected fluid show that the orbit of the damped rotor can be reduced. A preliminary analysis has been carried out to find a suitable automatic semi-active control algorithm for the studied device.

Abstract
