The Special Public Bill Committee
The Third Parties (Rights against Insurers) Bill
[HL] has been committed to a Special Public Bill Committee in
the House of Lords. The Bill will give effect, with minor modifications,
to the recommendations set out in the Law Commission and the Scottish
Law Commission's 2001 joint report Third Parties - Rights against
Insurers (Law Com No.272; Scot Law Com No.184) which was accepted
by the Government in 2002.
