1180nm Bi-doped aluminosilicate fiber amplifier
We demonstrate for the first time 1120nm laser-diode pumped Bi-doped alumino-silicate fiber amplifier at 1180nm. The amplifier performance on pump wavelength was studied. 70% gain improvement was achieved with 1120nm pumping, compared to 1047nm pump.

Abstract
