Fiber MOPA system utilizing large core Yb-doped gain fiber to produce 100Hz repetition frequency 100ns, 5mJ rectangular pulses by amplification of shaped seed pulses from 0.2nm band pass filtered Super Luminescent Diode emission, is demonstrated.

Abstract

Fiber MOPA system utilizing large core Yb-doped gain fiber to produce 100Hz repetition frequency 100ns, 5mJ rectangular pulses by amplification of shaped seed pulses from 0.2nm band pass filtered Super Luminescent Diode emission, is demonstrated.
