Single-frequency Raman distributed-feedback fiber laser

Single-frequency Raman distributed-feedback fiber laser
Single-frequency Raman distributed-feedback fiber laser
We report a 30cm-long Raman Distributed-feedback laser with ~450mW threshold in a commercial Ge/Si fiber. The laser is pumped with up to 1.3W-CW at 1064nm and exhibits single frequency performance with a linewidth <2.5kHz at 1109.5nm.

Abstract

We report a 30cm-long Raman Distributed-feedback laser with ~450mW threshold in a commercial Ge/Si fiber. The laser is pumped with up to 1.3W-CW at 1064nm and exhibits single frequency performance with a linewidth <2.5kHz at 1109.5nm.
